I think I have all of the Themes and Templates but I was unable to find any examples of the float that slides out the menu like the one on this page:

http://www.likno.com/examples.html?example=floating3

I am talking about the little bar that floats down the side.  Are there any Themes or Templates like that?  If yes, could you tell me what they are?

Thanks

Hello,

Just download exactly that project from this button:

download floating menu project

It uses this property:

menu floats on scroll

Thank you for this info.  What I am wondering though is if there are any other themes like the one on the sample page, similar to the one below that I have downloaded?

Also, can you tell me what Help page the information on the very bottom of your response is?  I have not been able to locate it.

Thanks

Hello,

I am afraid that we do not have more examples with menus that “float” like this one. However it is easy to make any menu “floating” by changing the related property according to the following screenshot:

menu constant floating

Note that this is just a screenshot of the application. It is not inside any help file.

I got a menu floating, no problem.  But my issue comes in when I do responsive - then part of the menu ends up off the page in some cases.  That's why I think it would be good to have examples or themes of the floats like in the example.

Hello again,

If the menu ends up off the page, then I guess that it is a matter of Positioning. Note that in responsive menus each “version” can have a different Positioning.

If you send me a URL I may be able to suggest a solution.

Hello Aris,

Thank you very much for the software. One issue is not clear to me, is that all templates and themes are not available for me to download. We have purchased the license for all. Currently I am able to only download the templates, but when I try to download the themes it asks me to buy credit. Also even though I have downloaded the templates and unzipped them into the c:/program files/allwebmenus/theme galery/ , I do not see any of the templates when using the software. Can you please advise on those 2 issues?

themes and templates

Thank you,

Dmitry

Dear Dmitry,

The Themes are directly visible from the application in the Theme Gallery.

The templates on the other hand, are independent example projects, and you have to open them manually (like any project of yours) to see them. You should not put them into the Themes folder.

Also note that some of these templates are designed for specific HTML pages, which you will also find in the template zip (so it is not really possible to see the final menu in the application preview, but only in a browser when viewing the example page).

Hello again,

I have some concerns:

Is it possible to change the colors on any of the themes?

Also, can they be changed into whatever type bar I need, even if they aren't initially set up for that format (such as a horizontal theme bar converted into a vertical bar)?

I also notice that there doesn't seem to be a way to have auto-width for the text unless I just missed it, of course.

I'm loving what I see, and I'm hoping that all of your answers are "Yes!" If this is a case in which the purchased program allows for these options, I'm truly appreciate knowing.
Thank you again for all of the time you've spent in helping me!
Alice

Dear Alice,

Regarding your questions:

1) Yes, you can easily change the colors of all text-based themes through the Style Editor. To change the colors of image-based themes however, you will need to edit the images manually in a graphic editor.

2) Yes, you can change the type of the menu at any time (same for each of its submenus) from horizontal to vertical to sliding. Again you can do all this through the Style Editor under the “Type” property.

3) Yes, as a matter of fact the default menu has automatic width based on its text. There are a couple of things you need to check for this:

i) make sure that the Size property of the menu items is set to Auto

clip_image001

ii) make sure that you do not have “Uniform Items”:

clip_image002

I believe that you need to take some time to get to know AllWebMenus. The truth is that although it is very easy to create the first menu, it can be overwhelming to find all of its abilities, just because of the sheer volume (it can practically do anything you want). The best approach, I believe, is to go to the Style Editor and have a look at what you can change there. Then you can load existing Themes or Examples and check on the Style Editor which options are checked to achieve this result.

December 23rd, 2012AWM: Some Presale Questions

Initial Email From:
Peter
Initial Email Subject: AllWebMenusPro Presales Questions
Support Case Month: March 2012

1 - the demos has themes and looks like the Pro comes with many  - are the ones that come with the ones you see in the trial version? It says you can buy other theme packs - are those just over and above what the trial shows or are some in the trial needed to be purchased?

2 - same Q above goes for sliders, there are many in the Pro trial, are the ones in the trial delivered with the Pro purchase, or do you need to buy them separate? If the pro version comes with same as shown in trial I suspect that would be sufficient for me.

3 - I am a bit confused how the menus created actually show up in web pages? are there several options? I couldn’t find out exactly what links would be required. In the past we generated a menu structure then copied it to every page, which was ok but we've got tons of pages thousands and changing one thing was an effort.

Thank you,

Peter

Hello Peter,

First, thank you for your interest in our Likno products.

1. All Themes/Examples that are inside the TRIAL are available to you for FREE after you purchase. The additional ones (that you can purchase) are not inside the TRIAL, so now you know which ones you get for free and which not.  Here you will find all paid ADDITIONAL ones: http://www.likno.com/awmthemes.php

2. Same answer, the ones that are inside the TRIAL you also get them for FREE after you purchase (note: do not forget to also check the "Sliding Menu Add-in" when purchasing, otherwise this feature will not be enabled):

Sliding Menu Add-in

3. You have plenty of options with AllWebMenus. The default option is what you actually need. You just compile the project, which creates a "menu.js" file along with the "awmdata" folder (menu libraries and images), you upload these online and you only need to LINK the menu.js file to the tons of pages where you want this menu to be inserted (if you use a template then this is easy, you just add the "menu-linking" code inside the template and you are done). The advantage of this methodology is that when you make changes to the menu you only need to recompile the "menu.js" and upload it online (along with the "awmdata" folder if updated libraries exist), you will not need to re-edit your tons of pages.

I hope I explained well what you needed to know.

Thank you.

Support Case Month: December 2012

Hi,

I have two questions.  I downloaded AllWebMenus Pro.  It came with a bunch of premade menu templates.  If I just buy the unlimited websites license, do I still keep those templates?

Also, if I can’t get the software to work with my website, is there any way to get my money back within 30 days?

Thanks!
Ivy

1. Yes, I downloaded from the link you mentioned.

2. Yes, to those templates you show in the image.  Do I get those, or do I have to buy all those extra templates?

Thanks a bunch for answering questions!
Ivy

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Dear Ivy,

Yes, these templates are all included with your purchase of AllWebMenus Pro.

As a matter of fact, once you purchase you even get one more Theme Pack for free from your User Area account.

If you want even more Themes or Templates, then you can purchase them, again from the User Area.
