Support Case Month: June 2013

I just paid to update AllMenus Pro to Version 5.3.912 on 21 June, which I believe entitles me to some more support. I followed your instructions to activate the software, which appeared to work properly.
However, when I bring up AllWebMenus Pro, I get an error message:
"It looks as if you have an incompatible version of Server-Side Menus API installed. Please download and install the latest version from ...".
According to your website, I believe that having downloaded 5.3.912 should have provided me the latest version of the Server-Side Menus API as well. I repeated the downloading and activation of AllMenusPro, but
I still get the same error message. Please advise me what I should do next.

Hello Rusell,

Could you please uninstall the AllWebMenus and then reinstall it?
Let me know if it still gives you the error.

Thank you!

Support Case Month: May 2013

Hello,

I have All Web Menus installed on my C: drive, which is getting quite full. I also have a huge secondary drive. Is it possible to move all of the themes and their related graphic elements to this other drive and then simply tell the program where to find them?  How would that be accomplished.

thank you much,

Linda

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Dear Linda,

AllWebMenus is a pretty light-weight application. The whole installation takes up about 36 Mb of which 12.3Mb is for the Themes. As such,  I do not believe that you will solve any problems by moving these to a separate drive.

Still, if this is what you want to do, then I recommend that you uninstall AllWebMenus and install it again in a new drive altogether! Note that this is something you should be able to do with most applications. During the installation you are asked at some point which folder you want the application to be installed in. There you can select your second hard disk.

Let me know if you find any problems.

Support Case Month: June 2013

Just updated AllWebMenus 5 from build 900 to 910. When starting the program a message box appears with Warning: Older version of Server-Side Menus API detected.

It instructs me to download and install the latest version from the link provided. When I click the link and look for download information it tells me the following:

Download link: Not needed, this version of the Add-in is pre-installed in AllWebMenus Build #888 or above.

How do I correct this?

Hello Paul,

Please, uninstall AllWebMenus Pro and then reinstall it. This should solve the problem.

Hello.

I have upgraded/installed AllWebmenus Pro build 900.  At startup I get the attached error message.  However, when I go to the website listed in the error message it says that all builds above 888 already include the updated/proper API.  It does not give me a download link because I should not need one.

So what am I suppose to do???

Brian

Dear Brian,

It seems that during one of your re-installations you got stuck with the wrong dll file. This can happen sometimes, especially if you try installing an older version without first uninstalling your current one.

The solution is easy: Uninstall AllWebMenus and even delete manually any left-overs, then re-install the version you want.

Dear Sébastien,

Did you by any chance install a newer version before installing the one you can activate?

Please try fully uninstalling AllWebMenus, then installing the one you can activate.

Let me know if this corrects the problem.
