Hello,

I bought three licenses. Does that mean for each accordion, I need one license? Though for one website I can design max. 3 accordions? pls see attachment. Is this possible to design and how can I do it?

Best regards

Yves

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Dear Yves,

First of all, you bought one license for 3 domains. This allows you to create accordions for three different sites, and each site can have unlimited accordions.

Regarding your attached image, in order to do this you need to create three accordion projects. Make sure that each project has a different Compile Name but DO NOT change the default folders:

accordion settings

1) this should be the same for all projects

2) this should be different (custom) for each project

3) this should be left with the default values

Then in order to position your accordions into your page, you can create a table, for example:

<table style="height:400px; width: 900px;">
    <tr>
       <td id="acc_1">&nbsp;</td>
       <td id="acc_2">&nbsp;</td>
       <td id="acc_3">&nbsp;</td>
    </tr>
</table>

(of course you can adjust the width & height of the table)

Then change the position of each accordion to  “Floating, Relative to Element” and select to position it to the top or bottom accordingly:

accordion relative to element

Hello, somehow it is not possible to put on a new accordion.

What I see is, that the one you did, has a different line, as mine. How come?

As attachment you see, how I tried to do it.

I gave the accordion a new order: likno-scripts region and a new doc name: likno_accordion_region.

I tried to save it under httpdocs generally and another time under likno-scripts.

Do I go back to the website, nothing happened.

Where is the mistake?

Many thanks for your help.

How it appears, if I do it:

<!-- ******** BEGIN LIKNO WEB ACCORDION CODE FOR accordion_region ******** -->

<script type="text/javascript">var lwacLinkedBy="LiknoWebAccordion [1]",lwacName="accordion_region",lwacBN="218";</script><script charset="UTF-8" src="/likno-scripts/accordion_region.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

<!-- ******** END LIKNO WEB ACCORDION CODE FOR accordion_region ******** -->

<DIV id=accordion_region_pos>&nbsp;</DIV>

This has been done through you:

<!-- ******** BEGIN LIKNO WEB ACCORDION CODE FOR likno_accordion_project ******** -->

<SCRIPT type=text/javascript>var lwacLinkedBy="LiknoWebAccordion [1]",lwacName="likno_accordion_project",lwacBN="218";</SCRIPT>

<SCRIPT type=text/javascript charset=UTF-8

src="/likno-scripts/likno_accordion_project.js"></SCRIPT>

<!-- ******** END LIKNO WEB ACCORDION CODE FOR likno_accordion_project ******** -->

<DIV id=liknoaccordion_positionID>&nbsp;</DIV>

<P>&nbsp;</P>

Hello Yves,

If you don't mind having an implementation charge of $30, I believe it is better and quicker if you send us the 3 projects so that we edit the proper properties and then send you them back along with the proper code to add to your website. This way there will be no communication problems on how to implement the solution.

Would you like to do so?

If yes, here is the link for the implementation charge:

{LINK REMOVED}

This is what you should do to export each one of the 3 different projects into a ZIP file and then email this ZIP to us.

accordion export project

We will then send them back to you, along with the proper HTML code that you will simply add to your page and everything will work as expected.

Initial Email Subject: Individual colors for background of main item buttons
Support Case Month: October 2012

I need to customize individual buttons background colors for main items to match the colors in their logo. I can change the background  on all of the buttons but that will not work for the individual buttons. Any help greatly appreciated.

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Dear Dave,

You can do this by adding customized style values to each item. First click on “All Values” to see the values that can be customized, then change what you want. (“Custom Values” will only show the customized values)

Dear Dave,

Having another look at your project file, I noticed that this is image-based. So it does not have a background color, but a background image instead:

In this case you have to change the Background Image Set:

menu background image settings

If you do not find something you like in the existing sets, you can also create your own images and change them individually (i.e. not as a set) there.

Just keep in mind that you have to use images that have the same height in order to prevent the menu from “breaking”.

You could also open the currently used images in a graphic editor and make a copy with different colors. (you will find them in the compiled folder)

Thanks for the info. I will work on that.

I was looking at your Button Maker and it looks like there are some template pieces that look like it would be the same format as the ones I am using. Might be able to use that also..

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Indeed, Button Maker has several templates that you could use as a background for your menu items.

The only thing you have to keep in mind is that (due to the nature of these buttons) the Button Maker images have a fixed width (which you set), so you do not use them as a “set” but as “Background Image 1” only, setting the “tile image” and “image 2” to “none”.

Support Case Month: April 2012

hi - how can I modify my all web menu so it appears behind the flash shadowbox that appears on my daytradinguniversity.com site?  As you can see, if you go to www.daytradinguniversity.com and click on the top center video box, it shows up behind the AWM menu, instead of in front of it like it should.

thanks,

ken

Dear Ken,

I see that your video popup has z-index=90, while the default AllWebMenus z-index is 1000.

Please change the AllWebMenus z-index value to something smaller (e.g. 50) to fix this problem:

Is it possible to have the first tab hard aligned left rather than being indented the few pixels it is?

Thanks,

Hello Rich,

What CSS values do you have for the "Tab Headers Common CSS"?

Can you send them to me to see?

tab header css

I believe you have to edit the "margin" values accordingly.

Hello Rich,

I do not see any problem there.

What about the CSS here?

header area overflow css

Can you send this too?

ALSO, you have a missing semi-colon here so, the "font-size" is not actually applied!

Aris,

The project has been exported as you requested. I also attached an image to show what I am trying to do. I suspect it's a simple fix.

Happy Easter! Thanks for your help.
Thanks!

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hi Rich,

It is indeed what we thought!

The setting that needs to be changed is on the "Tab Header Area CSS":

css padding

Just change this to:

padding: 0px 5px 0px 0px;

… and you will get ZERO pixels padding on the left side of the entire "Header Area" (not the individual "headers" but the "Area" that contains them).

I believe now you also learned how the different CSS (for different elements of the control) affect the design. You can actually implement limitless concepts if you properly take advantage of these available CSS fields!

Also thank you for the Easter wishes.
