Each time I republish my pages I have to relink menus even though the pages have same file names.  Is there a way around this?

Thanks for your assistance,

Larry

Dear Larry,

Which web-page editor are you using? If you are using something like FrontPage, you should also use the related AllWebMenus plugin to avoid this issue.

I am using X-Site Pro.  Is there a solution for this software?

Dear Larry,

Did you not add the Linking Code directly into X-Site Pro, when you edit the pages there?

I believe that this would be the best solution. Simply copy-paste your Linking Code into your pages in X-Site

Or even better, simply copy-paste the Linking Code into your template file (if you have one) so that all the pages take it from there automatically.

Just make sure that the path (src=“…”) starts with “/” (root-relative) so that it will work regardless of the subfolder your pages are in.
