As part of the continuous development of AllWebMenus, this page presents the various features and fixes added to new releases, in chronological order.
Apart from the implemented features, we are aware that there are many other features that you have suggested and we are planning to support. We do not stop programming and enhancing our programs and we will keep you posted on the progress of these projects. As always, we will greatly appreciate any feedback or suggestions you may have for the improvement of our software.

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #748 released
- Support for Google Chrome BETA browser is now added. read more
- Added the <Automatic Item Highlight> feature, which specifies whether an Item whose property matches the URL of the loaded web page will be highlighted by default.
- An asterisk (*) is now added next to filename on the Titlebar when changes to the project have been made.
- Fixed a Firefox issue with menus using the "Menu Floats on Scroll" feature. In some cases the menu did not appear on the page.
- Fixed an issue with item margins occurring on Netscape only (old browser).

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #746 released
- Improvements on the interface of the <Group Type> property regarding the "Scroll on Mouse Over" option.
- Installer is now updated to better support certain Vista configurations.
- Fixed an issue on the Safari browser where an image was misplaced.
- Fixed an issue with the "Scroll on Mouse Over" option when the page also contains scrollbar.

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #744 released
- New feature on <Type> property: "Scroll on Mouse Over" can now be used (in addition to the normal scrollbar option) when the contents of a submenu are larger than its height.
This allows for smooth scrolling of the submenu contents automatically, "on mouse over" rather than having to click on a scrollbar. See example
- Fixed the moving behavior of movable menus for IE and Mozilla browsers.
- Fixed a problem in GUI when the Refresh button was clicked while in "Style Editor" Tab and then the "Menu Editor" Tab was clicked immediately.

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #742 released
- Added the “Compile Menu with No Dialogs (F8)” menu command for faster compilation process (no dialogs appear unless absolutely necessary).

- Improved the speed of loading all user fonts. AllWebMenus is now much faster, especially on systems with a large number of fonts.
- A new installer is now being used that solves certain installation-related issues for specific user settings. AllWebMenus could not run properly on those specific settings because of missing DLLs, OCXs, etc. Now fixed.
- Added the “Server-Side Menus API Help (pdf)” menu command for instant access to the API manual.
- Fixed a Mozilla-related issue where a menu could appear wider than expected when one of its items uses the <“Has Submenu” image> property.
- Improved the disappearance behavior of menus when the “Manual trigger Groups as popup menus” positioning method is used.
- Fixed an issue where a floating menu could not appear if the “Menu Floats on Scroll” property was used combined with the “Smooth, Horizontal” values.
- Fixed an Opera 9.5-related alignment issue of a menu’s “Left Image”.
- Fixed various issues related to dual monitor configurations. Code added to make the GUI visible in case it is outside of the screen. Dual monitors are now fully supported without glitches.
- Improved the AutoRedraw process by deactivating AutoRedraw from the Tab Control.
- Fixed a Frontpage Add-in related issue: the "Update Menu with latest Navigation Structure" option was hidden from the GUI in some cases.
- Improved the “Advanced Floating” form in the <Menu Drifts on Scroll> property.
- Added new menu commands: "Add Item Before Selected" and "Paste Item Before Selected" (previous versions only had “After Selected” commands).

- Fixed an issue with the "Save as" or "Export" commands, where a small .awm file (empty) was created instead of the valid one (on certain cases only).
- Fixed some interface issues on the <Header>/<Footer> application forms: the wrong cursor appeared and popup forms did not disappear correctly when moving from one property to another.

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #740 released
- New "Advanced Floating Menu Add-In" released, allowing for more customization (such as floating behavior within specific sections of the page) and interesting navigation cases within the page. see example
- More options added on the <Type> property, allowing for advanced Horizontal Menubars with margins, etc. read blog posting

- Fixed a problem where Separator did not appear correctly in Firefox 3.x
- Fixed a bug where the <Link> property did not update correctly when changing the Web Site Root folder and the <Link> property was actually an anchor in the same page (uncommon case).
- Fixed a problem where the Preview Pane could not refresh when pressing F5.

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #736 released
- The <Link> property now supports unicode characters on the URL.
- The application now renders better on non-default DPI screen settings.
- All text-related properties can now be edited in larger forms.
- The default projects directory is the "My Documents" folder now instead of the "AllWebMenus\Examples" folder.
- Cross-frame implementations now also support the IE browser fix for the select boxes.
- All text-related properties can now be edited instantly on click (the"edit" button has been removed, as unnecessary step).
- The Server-Side Menus API Add-in fully supports the new enhancements of the <Border> property.
- Fixed a problem where the border property did not save all values on certain cases.
- The javascript libraries now fully support absolute positioned layers in HTML Text, when the "HTML - Full Mode / Ignore Style Properties" option is selected.
- Fixed a rare problem where the application ended unexpectedly in some cases.
- Fixed a problem where the images of the project did not show correctly in Preview Pane (but showed correctly live on the browser)
- Fixed a problem in Opera browser where the items looked wider than they should be.
- New service for AllWebMenus: Recover the "Menu Structure" of lost AllWebMenus project files (.awm) from their related javascript menu files (.js).

Pro version 5.1 Build #734 released
- The Border property now supports "individual" borders for any of the 4 sides (top, bottom, left, right) of both Groups and Items, allowing for many new interesting effects.

- Fixed a problem where an item in "HTML - Full Mode" did not respond correctly to mouse events.
- Fixed a problem when editing the <Item Text> property and the DPI was more than 120.

- New Safari version 3.1 fully supported by improved menu library.
- Cross-frame menu implementations further optimized.
- The GUI now copies all images from Image Manager and not only the used images.
- Frontpage Add-in updated to fix some non-critical issues.
- Support added for separate <Item Border> colors on each side of the item.
- Various changes made and unused code removed in order to make the application faster and lighter.
- Fixed a problem with Sticky Submenus and groups that appeared on mouse click.
- Fixed a problem with the tree in Menu Structure pane, where it did not display contents if there was a branch with a very large name.

- Ability to report problems through the application is now added, using the new "Send Feedback" button.
- Fixed a problem where an horizontal menu did not appear correctly when the menu had a header with an image (on all browsers except IE for Windows).
- Fixed a problem where the submenu appeared out of the window (Mozilla-based browsers only).
- Fixed a bug when an item was added using the right-click menu. After the creation, the previous item was selected instead of the new one.
- Fixed a bug where a Lite project produced a javascript error if opened with PRO.
- Fixed a problem where a menu appeared smaller in Firefox.
- Fixed a problem when a menu was compiled for cross-frame support and the submenu did not open under the correct item.
- Fixed a problem on the <Tooltip> property. When a quote (') was on the tooltip, the tooltip was truncated after the quote.
- Fixed a problem where the background images didn't appear correctly if the page was opened locally and there was a quote (') in the path.
- Fixed a bug where the submenu image didn't align correctly in Opera.
- Fixed a problem where the border of a subgroup disappeared unexpectedly (in IE for Windows)
- Fixed a problem in HTML Full Mode. If an input box existed, it did not receive the focus in IE for Windows.

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.0 Build #728 released
- New version (2.0.2) of the Server-Side Menus API Add-in also released, adding support for "Separators" and fixing a bug in menu positioning.
- The "Positioning Relative to Image" option now functions with improved speed.

- The <Floating Image> value can now be cleared also through the "delete" or "backspace" button.
- Changes have been made to the javascript libraries and the GUI in order to add more flexibility to the "HTML Full Mode" of the <Item Text> property.
- Fixed a bug in Mozilla where the "Unfolding 3" effect did not function well.
- Fixed a bug related to the separator in Horizontal Menus (IE for Windows only).
- Fixed a bug where submenus didn't appear when using the "Manual Trigger Groups" positioning option (mozilla browsers only).
- Fixed a bug when a vertical submenu was using a Header and 2 columns. The Header didn't appear properly.
- "Right-to-Left" menu implementations do not use a scrollbar now (if not needed) in IE for Windows.
- Fixed a bug on Opera browser: the menu appeared wider than it should if a "Has Submenu Image" was used in the project.
- The "Trial Mode" is now introduced with some restrictions (random scrambled text) so that trial users are able to test the software by compiling and linking their menus to their websites. This requires a special Activation Code from Likno Software.

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.0 Build #726 released
- New Themes added to application for free: 5 Vertical and 5 Horizontal.
- Some old-looking Themes have been removed from the application.
- New feature added: The <Floating Image> property.

Examples:


- Some internal variables have been renamed in order to avoid any conflicts with other scripts on the page. For example: "n=null" has been replaced by "n$=null"
- "Sticky Submenus" feature now enhanced: added a standard disappearance delay on sticky submenus so that a sticky submenu does not close when the mouse accidentally enters another item for some milliseconds.
- Fixed a bug (IE for Windows only) where a vertical submenu didn't appear correctly if the submenu aligned with the right edge of the parent group. A horizontal scrollbar also appeared in some rare occasions.
- Fixed a bug with the item's <Size: Minimum Height> on Mozilla only. The script was also adding the item's border.
- Fixed a problem where a space was appearing in Horizontal Menus when setting the <Width> of the menu.
- The list of Sub-Effects in <Disappears How> property now matches the related effect direction.

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.0 Build #724 released
- Added support for IFRAME in the <Link Target> property. The <Link> page can now open inside an IFRAME too.

- Position of the <Link Target> property changed. Moved closer to the <Link> property.

- One more option added to the <Group Disappears How> property for Sticky Submenus: "unless user hovers over another item". This option enables the creation of TAB menus (see "XP Tabs" online example).

- Fixed a small bug related to Sticky Submenus.
- Added minor wording and usability enhancements.

- Optimized <Item Text> property to support all possible options.

- Fixed some issues related to submenus in Safari.
- Fixed some problems related to "custom variables" in the Project Properties.
- Fixed a problem that occurred when a submenu appeared and then we moved the mouse over its parent element and the subgroup disappeared.
- Fixed some minor issues related to preview panels. The preview panels are now refreshed whenever they are visible.
- Fixed the layer behind Item text in order for it not to be display in its full size.
- Fixed issues related to Item Text Property and the use of variables.
- Added internal javascript code in order to block all javascript error messages in the preview window.
